"I write the story of what is happening in the society, thats how i believe it. It may be social, it may be religious, it may be folkloric and it may be political if you like. But to me, the theatre is to reflect the society in which we live.
Traditionally, Africans don't count the number of their wives. We know we have wives, it may be five, it maybe ten, my grandfather had more than twenty, so but usually its a secret to the household but i will just tell you that they are more than ten. And in this community, there are some petty jealousies but they are not as pronounced as to damage anything. If there is a quarrel now, it is settled. And people live together like brothers and sister. Its a thing that i think that like very much"
